Happy Happy Happy Saturday! Last Saturday, Steve, my parents, and I went to see Aladdin at the Pantages! Steve and I saw this on Broadway with my twin sister and brother in law a couple of years ago, and we FELL IN LOVE. In fact, each of the four of us got to pick something to do while we were in New York, and Steve was NOT excited to go see a Broadway Show.
I have been teaching kindergarten for four years at one of the largest elementary schools in my district. Tuesday, August 19, 2014. A Different Kind of School Year. This school year will be quite different from previous school years. Why? We could not be more excited! However, with the news of a little girl on the way we had a decision about my up coming school year. After much thought my husband and I decided this school year I would take a year off. It was so hard watching all of my teacher friends go back to school this year without me, however I know this is for the best.
Thursday, May 9, 2013. The end of the year is fast approaching and we had our class music program and awards ceremony yesterday. All the kids got to walk the red carpet to receive their special awards. They are all such special kiddos to me and I will miss them dearly! Robin Preiss Glasser, the Illustrator of the Fancy Nancy books came to our school for a visit! She spoke about her inspiration for her drawings and read us the newest Fancy Nancy book! They grew and grew and grew! .
