About The Gratz Area Fire Co. PO Box 8 South Center St. 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month. 2nd and 4th Mondays of every month. The GAFC has provided fire and medical protection to citizens living in Gratz Boro and Lykens Township since 1924.

August 8th, 2008 Training. The GAFC will be utilizing the Klingerstown Fire Co. Training will be led by Lieutenants Schlegel and Sitlinger. Members will be trained on interior search. It was replaced in 1967 as first due engine, and was retired in 1991 with the arrival of the current Engine 27. 59, but the total cost is unknown.
