Single typo made intended grab area much wider. Tracked down problem immediately after I finished my presentation.
Welcome to the artistic mind of Brice. We first needed to come up with a general idea of what the cave looked like. Sp I drew up what I envisioned. I tried to give the cave some character and life. I added objects that might have a lore to them and creatures that would have served a purpose in the environment. After a while I started concepting out ideas for production art starting with cover photo ideas for facebook and other useful illustrations. The original model for our characte.
Thursday, May 29, 2014. Difficult to make a good tutorial. One of the biggest problems we had on our game was that people were not understanding the objective of the game early on.
Wednesday, May 28, 2014. A large part of my work this quarter was devoted to attempting to implement netcode into the Grind, which unfortunately ended up falling out of scope within the time allotted. Beyond that, I implemented a rumble feature by changing how unity received controller input, built the main menu and character select screens and functionality, and refined the AI behavior. This is not actually a tool.
