Monday, March 2, 2015. Its been a while since Ive written. Its been a while since Ive dealt with the loss of Tanya, the failed adoption. Its hard to acknowledge that term, failed adoption. I dont feel as though Ive failed anyone except Tanya, and that will follow me for the rest of my life and hers. I wrote that all a couple of months ago, but it took a lot longer than I planned for me to talk myself into getting things done . . . Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Saturday, December 14, 2013. He had a great report. His new device is literally reading that its battery life has 12 years on it! Sam and Parker, the Travel Awareness Bear, got EKGs this week. Him to enjoy watching the other kids wrestle for now. But he is gaining his beautiful attitude back and he enjoys life to the fullest.

In the lecture, Diamond lays out a 5 point framework for why societies collapse and draws parallels between past collapses and present threats. More on the first assignment.
