Saturday, October 8, 2016. Look at these gorgeous appliqué quilts by Jennifer. I had the pleasure of custom quilting these three wonderful baby quilts and one wall hanging. a duck holding a tulip! In the squares, I added more quilty goodness like a butterfly, ladybug, bumble bee, and flowers. Oh, I love that sweet baby animal pyramid. A minky backing always makes custom quilting pop. Thank you so much for letting me quilt for you, Jennifer. It was such a pleasure.

Wednesday, March 28, 2018. I really was wondering if I would be able to pull off getting this OMG One Monthly Goal done. Especially after I got the bright idea to hand quilt it. But this little wall hanging quilt really looked like it needed it. This was a free pattern from Kaaren Johnson at The Painted Quilt Blog Spot. Dear Modest Yarn Stash,. I suppose that every knitter buys yarn differently. I have marveled at personal stashes that were the knitting equivalent of a home LYS, custom shelving full of wool, home yarn studios and walk-in fiber rooms. I feel an initial twinge of envy when I see such things but then I remember how I buy yarns and why it suits me.
