not an ounce of sugar nor a slice of sunshine. Tuesday, July 2, 2013. I feel the need to play catch up. The boys were all ready for a dog-I was not so much. We adopted a 10 week old heeler mix from a local shelter. She has a neat rescue story, I will tell it sometime. This was taken June 14,2013 around her estimated 1st Birthday. I may or may not do a few backdated post.
The ongoing comedy of a Southern girl trying to figure it all out. And one LOOONNNGGGG weekend where I could find nothing to do but buy mini bottles of wine and watch whatever came on HBO. After Dallas came Shreveport for a week, where in spite of its reputation, the food was TERRIBLE. Not in my experience, anyway.
Monday, January 28, 2013. Just returned home from a year in another foreign country, and this time guess what. I somehow got shingles, pulled my groin muscle and have spent my block leave in and out of the hospital! The Mrs. Is not happy, and I am certainly not happy. This sucks! On a lighter note, I am super happy to be back, and morphine is not all it is cracked up to be.
