Guss Composition Blog

Monday, 7 June 2010. This piece is a short interlude, influenced by Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin. It was written for a concert and is designed to link two other tracks together while musicians changed over. Most of my time composing this piece was finding the right type of sounds as I felt this was one of the most important features of writing this type of music. I think overall my portfolio is quite diverse, but I struggle with song structures and melodies and tend to use the same ones too much.
