En mi caso personal, mi primer acercamiento con la ciencia estuvo impregnado por mi pasión por la fantasía. Cuando cumplí los once años recibí de regalo un juego de química, con sus tubos, pinzas y reactivos químicos. Con él hacía experimentos, principalmente inspirado en mi lectura de la novela. Me gustaba quemar azufre, porque a eso olía Mefistófeles en el. Es decir, el juguete era mi excusa para pretender que yo era un científico loco, o un alquimista medieval.
