A rambling of what is going on in my life for those of you who care. Friday, July 6, 2012. Happy 4th of July from the top of Mt. Charleston! My mom and I decided we would go too. We had done the hike 9 years ago, so we knew what we were getting ourselves in to. The hike is 18 miles round trip. My dad had told us that he did the whole thing in 4. 5 hours one time - 20 years ago. I figured we could make it under 10 hours easy! After 5. 5 hours, we finally made it to the top - only half way! What do you see? .
