This blog will be about my family living a charmed life in a historic Texas town. Sunday, April 21, 2013. Scarborough Faire in Waxahachie, Texas. After living in Waxahachie for twenty-seven years, I finally spent a few hours at Scarborough Faire, a huge Renaissance festival that is open in April and May each year. Tim and I headed out early in the day quickly to find ourselves in a caravan of cars and trucks all crawling toward the Medieval Kingdom just south of town.
It was a nice trip to Michigan. Sunday, August 24, 2014. Maddy sitting in her daycare room next to her friend Tyler. I love that they are sitting at the back right next to each other. Somehow they incorporated Snow white into the cast.
Saturday, August 24, 2013. About a month after we got the table, one of my kids spilled nail polish remover on it which messed up the finish. Since then, damage has been done in many other ways, mostly from art projects and hot pots sitting on the unprotected wood.

Monday, September 24, 2012. And I thought Michigan was bad. Needless to say, I didnt go that day. One woman I know went to the DMV and when she arrived, the line was out the door. She timed how long it took to wait on each person, counted the people in line and realized she wouldnt even get in the door before they closed, so she left.
