A Family Affair.

She opens her eyes, notices her missing spouse, rolls her neck and throwing the sheets to one side, slips out of bed. Pulling on her jeans and a bikini top, she pads slowly from the bedroom to the empty dining area, not looking forward to unpacking the boxed household goods. She looks out the window at the beautiful sunrise, feeling the new mornings warmth on her cheek.
