Sorority Girl in a Frozen Tundra. and living there! Wednesday, October 12, 2011. As you can tell, I fail as a blogger! My cousin got married, I traveled, I relaxed, I visited family and friends, and I gained weight. I have been back in Alaska since August 2nd. I helped with the Welcome Wagon in Anchorage for 3 days and then came up to Shishmaref on August 5th. That is a brief update of my life. Friday, April 22, 2011. A polar bear, a polar bear.

Ich werde zwar versuchen, den einen oder anderen Kommentar noch persönlich zu beantworten, aber das wird eine gewisse Zeit benötigen. Sunday, April 21, 2013. Sowe have been pretty busy, but honestly I have been lazy when it comes to updating the blog. I think about it often and then I end up reading or catching up on TV episodes of Psych or The Walking Dead. I will leave for the last time tomorrow morning May 24. It marks the end of my time here in this remote Inupiat Eskimo village just south of the Arctic Circle and 100 miles across the Chukchi Sea from Russia. It marks the end of my 35 years of teaching.
