Friday, July 6, 2012. The Dresden Files Storm Front. The Dresden Files by Jim Butcher is one of my first forays into the Urban Fantasy genre. Since then, I have read many books in the genre, and while, I have liked them, they really have not competed with the Dresden Files. One of the things I enjoyed about this series in general was Jim Butchers humor. He writes a very good tongue in cheek style. And the format of the first person really really meshes well with the humor. Links to this post.
