Wednesday, January 28, 2015. I saw a recipe for homemade cough drops on Facebook a couple of days ago. The problem was that it was half sugar and consuming sugar when you are sick is counterproductive. So after researching several homemade cough drop recipes, I experimented and made my own filled with many healing and comfort producing ingredients.

Thursday, May 31, 2012. We are so excited that school is over! The boys had a great year and adjusted well to their new school. We swam and ate hamburgers and hot dogs. Perfect way to celebrate! Tyler and Jaxson earned gold medals in the Reading Olympics at school. They had to read over 100 books each during the school year. Last day of school! Tyler hugging his 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Jaxson playing in the fountain.
Friday, March 23, 2012. Adorable, sweet and loves looking and cooing at anyone who will talk to her. We finally got to play in some snow this winter! Back in January we had an entire week of snow days for Jake - which meant snow days for all of us! Ashlyn was excited that she was able to sled right in our little backyard.
