With the guitar body basically complete, we turned our attention to the guitar neck. My Success Kit shipped with a beautiful ebony fretboard with dot inlays and pre-cut fret slots and a long coil of fret wire. To begin fretting, I clamped the fretboard to the bench I then snipped lengths of wire slightly longer than each fret and used a hammer to tap them into the slots.
