The purpose of this blog is to reflect on my first semester of teaching Lit 2000 Introduction to Literature. Wednesday, December 2, 2009. My New Toy Called Blabberize. I found a new toy to play with in my hybrid and my online classes called Blabberize. I can use this for my weekly announcements and my students can use it in their discussion forum introduction posts and on their blogs. I am excited to use it in my spring course. Monday, January 26, 2009. What is a sonnet? A sonnet is a poem made of 14 lines. Most sonnets are written in iambic pentameter with a formal rhyme scheme. Although the rhyme scheme can vary, most English sonnets are written in either the Petrarchan style or the Shakesperean style. A third type of sonnet form is the Spenserian sonnet.
