I woke up and it was May! So it has been a bit since I have post here. Fear not, the simple reason is that I have been too busy. Here are some of the better photos that I have taken since. Homeless Memorial walk and vigil. Tea Party tax day rally at the State Capital. A neighbor uses a garden hose to protect his home. A homeowner watches on as her house burns.

I have to say, it was nice to have walking be the only option of transportation for that few days. We all got out of our houses, talked to our neighbors, and enjoyed a slower pace of time. It took only about 48 hours for that to end and for the rude honking of car vs. car in a one-lane street to begin. And for the first time I understood when people feel a sense of ownership over a parking spot they dug out themselves. I forgot how much I miss this. I shot portraits for the brother.
