Wednesday, August 25, 2010. My dear friends, after four years and apparently 281 posts, I have decided to stop blogging. This blog and the little community of which I have been a part, have been very important to me. They have enabled me to reflect deeply on my life and I have shared joys and struggles with some fine people whose friendship I will always cherish. I could name you, but I think you know who you are. I will miss blogging, but mostly I will miss you. My love and blessings to you.

So a brief catch up. The Thanksgiving thing went fine. Everybody liked him and he liked everyone. The holidays and right up til now has been fine. Except that I am still unemployed. I had a hopeful interview the other day. I should hear tomorrow if they want me to come back. The position would be something of a departure from my past working life but that could be very good and open different doors. My accountant has not ye.

A girl, her dogs, and their follies. Peace, true peace became a part of my daily existence from the moment I touched down in India. Since my return, each day, several times a day, I find myself sitting and pondering who the hell have I become. I have never been so calm, so unfazed by day-to-day pettiness. Truly, I have returned from India transformed.
