Going to NY was an extension of my college trip. I went to see SUNY Purchase one of the 10 schools I applied to. I really enjoyed the trip and was super excited to see old family friends! Suddenly Nurul was screaming and running towards me. She pointed at a rose bush. The bush was moving! We thought it was a snake, so we stayed away. Immediately, the two adult birds went back to their nest to comfort their nestling. It was a very touching moment.
