Tuesday, March 27, 2018. When I met him, he needed a soft landing and I needed someone to soak up the tears from the looming inevitable. When I needed him to be quiet and put the pieces of a shattered heart back together, he was there. And i will always love this photo.
Went for a lesson earlier this week. It was, in technical terms, hotter than three hells. I also had a mild headache, an intermittent stomachache, and an all-over malaise. The desire to give it all up for Tiddlywinks. Partly, the Aspirin and Pepto kicked in. Partly, in giving myself permission, I took the pressure off. What I really wanted to do was ride, thank you very much. Can I change this? I just yell louder at myself.

Wednesday, January 11, 2017. Houston We Have A Meltdown. Apparently poor Stinker could not life yesterday. Everything started out fine, he was a bit resistant to my leg but that isnt uncommon at the beginning of a ride. Typically lateral work gets him to soften and relax. That was not the case. This guy was not here. Cant Handle. Life. At least he looks cute while being an asshole. Hopefully, it wont pick back up tomorrow. It is really bothering me that I dont know what caused it.
