Wednesday, November 29, 2017. My apologies to followers who were psyched for the bookcase quilt. I am lucky to have a couple hours a week to work on quilt projects. A couple months ago, I was inspired by this Delft Platter to make a quilt. I collected fabrics and drew out some designs based upon traditional Delft Pottery designs I found online.

This past year and already into the new year I have been busy teaching French Boutis classes and designing new patterns. I also have done several quilt trunk shows for quilt groups. After many months my new French Boutis Zippered Bag pattern is published on. As a complete kit and as a PDF downloadable pattern. The small bag when completed measures about 5 x 7. It has a 12 inch zipper and is lined with beautiful fabric.

Rosemary chose this gorgeous backing for her quilt. Janet did these beautfiful daisies all over the dresden plates. Add with beautiful hand quilting with perle cotton I think. And a wonderful backing fabric. Rosemary and Janet inspecting the fruits of their hard work - beautiful.
