Tuesday, September 10, 2013. I tried to keep things as consistent for the kids as possible. Obviously, things were different. We were living with my parents and their dad was away. We talked to Scott every night. We tried to do google hangouts so the kids could see him. They were all so thoughtful. They planned a surprise going away party for me, complete with ice cream cake and gifts.
