I believe the body is linked to the world in an elemental way through our perceptions and experiences. I am interested in the notion of the self as an assortment of multiple personae, and that our bodies can provide an opportunity to challenge naturalized societal boundaries. My body is the site on which characters dwell, are documented, and then removed. I use everyday moments, props, and gestures to construct and explore these characters.
