Saturday, 10 May 2008. This project reminded me that I wanted to travel back to London again. I am even more intrigued by the city and its fashion, compared to New York. I think that I gained more friendships and a better understanding of our individual projects. It felt good to vent. Thesis is over and I am graduating this week. Parsons will soon be behind me, but I am more than ready for the next . next what? Remember my name.
Wednesday, 5 March 2008. But now, through so many croquis, I do it very fast. I think I found the way work best for me and my hand is trained to draw fast as soon as a new idea comes up.
Wednesday, 14 May 2008. I enjoyed going to the museums, but again would have liked to have done more of them and had a little more cultural interaction. I think generally more of a balance between roaming around NYC and structure would really improve the project. New York is a hell of a town, and seven days is just not enough time to take it all in, you need at least a week to recover from the jet lag, a second to walk all the way round Central Park and a third to make sure you take in every single rail of clothes in Bloomingdales! Once we were able to meet our designers that we had been talking to for the previous few months - it was exciting to see the collections for my self and not just from photographs.
