Christmas Eve, Always Magical. January 3, 2012 in Uncategorized. I have spent the afternoon with my parents, whose 65. My father is in a memory care unit and my mother is an in an adjoining assisted living facility. However, there were smiles and moments of lightness in the day.

Snow flurries and overcast skies greeted me at sunrise; pretty much a raw morning as the wind is whipping around, making it feel much, much. the new year is off to a cold start. No resolutions, no goals or expectations for the next twelve months; just to try to be a better version of me.

Tuesday, February 27, 2018. I grew up picking them every summer with Grandma, Mom, my aunt on occasion, and my cousin. I now grow tame vines in my yard and put them in our freezer. We usually made cobblers with them and jams and jellies. I do crafts every Wednesday at the Senior Center where I volunteer. Along with a craft I take a blackberry dessert.
