Handwerken, en met name breien, loopt als een rode draad door mijn leven. Leuk dat je even langs komt, en vriendelijke reacties zijn altijd welkom. En wij staan daar ook! Voornamelijk met handgemaakte producten zoals. En nog veel meer! .

The House with the Blue Door. Monday, 17 August 2015. Hello there - thank you for dropping by, and for all the lovely comments which you made about my holiday posts. I continue to be delighted every time I get one and it means a great deal that you still enjoy stopping for a while at my blog. I would have shared a photo with you, but it was rather reluctant to emerge from the tin, and we ended up scooping it rather than slicing it. Ah well, not very photogenic but it still tasted good.

Recently I was lucky enough to be selected as the winner of a giveaway hosted by the lovely Viola of Colour Crochet Love. When the book arrived however Viola had extremely generously included some delightful goodies which quite simply made my day.

This is our home from home for the next week. Staithes is just north of Whitby on the Yorkshire Coast. This weekend was the RNLI lifeboat weekend, which has been fantastic.

2016 Draws to a Close. 2016 draws to a close and another year has passed in the blink of an eye. Is it just me or is this something to do with age - the older you get the quicker the years pass? It had been my plan to choose 9 makes from 2016 to create a collage, but failed as I could not narrow it down to 9 favorites so have had to create two, one for knitting and crochet and one for stitch.
