Engineers Without Borders of NMSU in Nicaragua. By Jared Martinez and Nancy Martinez. We land in-country and make it through customs without any problems. The major reactions among the group involve the heat and humidity. Finally, we are at our hostel which greets us with hot rooms and cold showers. This is okay since most of us are exhausted. We hit the sack to prepare for our journey northward to Condega.

Well Erik arrived a week ago today, and luckily for me I had two holidays already scheduled off during this time and my boss has let me have 3 days in addition to that, so I have been off work almost the entire time Erik has been here! Sunday morning we set off for an agriturismo retreat in the mountains north-ish of Rome in an area called Caprarola, right next to Lago di Vico. It was beautiful and definitely relaxing! Wednesday, July 17, 2013. I had to carry fruits and veggies up a mountain every day to eat and you spend your time staring at a computer or television screen.
