Terrell bought another blacksmith shop, also of brick construction in 1896. This shop was aid to have fronted on Valley Street. It stood at the site of 724 Valley Street. This shop had its origins back in 1833 also. In the 1920 census a John Shepherd was listed a blacksmith, but white, and may have lived nearby.
