Hit the bullseye of the art education target. I returned to my third year in the same school district and fourth year teaching with a missus attached to a new last name and a secret. Life changes were coming to me in threes. I finished out the rest of the school year and signed my contract for the following year at seventy percent with a heavy heart. Marriage, new baby, and change in employment status placed an added stress on my personal life.

Wednesday, August 5, 2015. First Day Lesson for Kindergarten. I love this book for many reasons. The balance of old and modern, the simple one-sentence-per-page text and the fun, questioning look at art it provides for students. Plus? I read this book to five different classes last year and every single time someone raised their hand to let me know the words rhymed. Over on TpT if interested.
