Friday, 13 January 2017. Shooting My Own Theory Related Film - Whats First? For my short film im going to look at Mulveys theory of the male gaze and visual pleasure. I find this theory the most intriguing and I think theres a lot more that can be done with it, experimental wise. I think that the feminist perspective for this theory is also a great idea to run with I can. Use models and different environments in order to capture the essence of a male audience. Wednesday, 11 January 2017. Following my research and demonstrations of various aperture and Iso settings, i set about utilising different shutter speeds to produce shots, and see the effect of each setting on the outcome of the image. Higher levels of light are therefore required to use a faster shutter speed, as it can reduce motion blur and flicker within photos and moving image. I used jump cuts, and placed them in-between shots to show a jump back and forth, contrastin.
