Elders Salon

Thursday, July 31, 2014. Showing Up and Letting Go by Lucky. The privilege of a lifetime is being who you are. Participate joyfully in the sorrows of the world. We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy. A few years ago, when writing Embracing Life. I wasnt convinced that my increasing sense of wellbeing and happiness represented an improvement. How could I be happier as the house I lived in was burning? Im still learning and happier for it. Kenya Mission Trip

Saturday, August 16, 2008. I want to thank everyone who made this trip possible. Without your support, Michael and I, along with others of the team, would not have been able to go. I did not post when I was in Kenya due to time and internet constraints. When I returned, I had to sort through thousands of images to pick a few that could tell the story well. Each post is from that day so the posting is in chronological order, meaning the last post is the first viewed.
