The Leg of Beast is a prix fixe menu so the waitress sat us down and explainedhe different courses to us, and, almost as importantly as the leg of beast, she asked us which dessert we wanted to eat.

Saturday, April 7, 2012. Yesterday was the 5th and final day of my Family Dinner Challenge! For dinner, I made vegetable-rice soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. It was simple, but delicious. She ate salami and she did also have a few bites of a sandwich. Thursday, April 5, 2012. Last night was day 4 of my challenge and it was another successful meal in many ways.

Tuesday, August 4, 2015. From Deck to Patio! We have enjoyed our large L-shaped wooden deck for many years. It has been a nice gathering place when friends and family come to visit. Tom built it himself more than 20 years ago, and it has held up quite well over the years. However, we recently decided that we would dismantle our wooden deck and replace it with a stone patio. The dismantling of the old wooden deck did not take long at all. Tom went to work with a pry bar.
