It was our first taste of home, right on the edge of the Midwest. We camped amid deciduous trees and enjoyed cool evenings and warm campfires. Monday, October 31, 2011. We took a small detour North to dip our feet in the Grand Canyon. What more can I say? It is breathtaking. Next we came upon the Hackberry General store. oh my was this place fun! I could have stayed all day. Berma-Shave welcomed us back to the road. Sunday, May 29, 2011.
