Monday, November 19, 2012. November 10th Safe arrival in Haiti. We arrived safely after a long night at the Miami airport. We spent the first week in Deslandes and got to work on the second building stucco coat. It is very hot and we did get some late afternoon rain for a couple of days and then a huge downpour Thursday evening which made the walk out quite muddy. We are now back in Verrettes and will be doing work on the property there using the materials we bought today in St. Marc. At around 300pm t.

Some hotels seem to celebrate Halloween with parties but it is not a common part of rural Sri Lankan life. Now some of us are off to see the country and relax. It has been a great experience. Friday, September 2, 2016. Aug 25 Last day, plus celebratory dinner earlier in the week. Rwanda, Kigali - August 25. The team was working hard to get the last stretch of wire fence installed. After a long day at the work site, the team went out for a celebratory dinner. Last day on the fence line. We went to a restaurant called Heaven and indeed the food was divine! It was a satisfying end to a long day of work.

Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Rob, Gillian and Tommy headed out early today to tie up some last minute loose ends at SACRO while the rest of us enjoyed a more leisurely start to the day. Once we were all back together we headed off to the Pre-School in Mbabane for a visit with the little ones.
