Sunday, June 9, 2013. 1720 USS Nimitz by Italeri. This kit is older and less detailed than the more recent 1700 kit produced by Trumpeter. However, it still builds up well with a little TLC. No interior hanger bay is included in this kit, so I used some styrene sheet to produce a representative bay so I can park some aircraft in there. It will look fine as long as no one gets in there with a flashlight. Once it dries, you can paint it! The aircraft decals are small and numerous. A tedious task.CONTENT

Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Since I just started this new single project per blog sytem, I had to ditch everything I had previously written on Shuttle Wars. Although the YouTube videos will still feature a portion devoted to comparison of the Monogram and Revell orbiters, I thought I would break them up into separate blogs.
