Sunday, January 10, 2010. Superstition Hike up to Flat Iron. Spencer went on a hike up the Superstition Mountains on Saturday. The hike is called Siphon Draw, commonly known as Flat Iron. Elevation started at around 2,000 feet. The first mile, of 3, was nothing more than this easy to moderate incline. You can see the destination here. The peak is about 4,600 feet.

Thursday, August 27, 2009. Elizabeth started 3rd grade! She is loving her new teacher and is excited about the friends that are in her class. School started 2 days after Kate was born so I was still in the hospital. She had her daddy there and was excited to see all her friends. I was sitting alone at the hospital wishing I was with her.
