Tuesday, June 21, 2005. Interesting errosion of these walls. The errosion holes almost look like burrows. Just to get some perspective, look how small Sue, Kerry and Paulette are compared to the wall. A horned owl perched on a ledge.
Woolfe Coulee is located at the south west end of Travers Reservoir. I went hiking here in the early spring with Kerry and Paulette. I found it so interesting, I came back a week later with Sue and a friend of mine from work to show them the amazing landscape. Wednesday, June 22, 2005. The Spionkop pics were taken when we were climbing up a ridge of Loaf Mtn. We aborted this trek due to high winds. We decided to try a hike up Dungarvin Creek instead. Not too much elevation gain, but really worth the time. Monday, June 06, 2005. The Horn is actually an un-named peak just east of Mt. Dungarvin. I want to top this one this summer.
