The Duncan Police Department is made up of several sections with patrol, investigation, and administration as its major divisions. We are responsible for not only the City of Duncan, but also for four Lakes located east of the city. I would encourage you to visit our lakes as they are well maintained and receive twenty-four hour-a-day police service. Locals and visitors alike find our lakes some of the best in Oklahoma.

Chief Long began his career with the Duncan Police Department in January of 2005, where he served as Captain for over 9 years. In 2014, he was promoted to Chief of Police. Prior to his employment with Duncan, he served with the South Carolina Highway Patrol for 26 years, where he spent over half his career in narcotics and criminal enforcement.
