Depois de terem conhecido os sólidos geométricos mais simples através dos conjuntos de 12 sólidos existentes no nosso laboratório móvel, lançaram-se na grande aventura de construir 2 sólidos geométricos regulares, com gomas e paus de espetadas. A aventura foi grande e demorou o seu tempo mas no fim tinham construído um octaedro regular e um icosaedro regular.
