The next chapter of our lives Val and Darlene Farmer. Sunday, March 17, 2013. This young 29 year old from Ulaanbaatar died a week ago from ovarian cancer. Narantuya with her 9 year old daughter, Enkhjin, 2 year old son, Ekh Achlan, and husband, Bathuu, about 3 weeks ago. Our daughter ,Tassa Barney, from Wildwood, Missouri will be visiting us in Mongolia next month. Ekh Achlan riding a toy jeep.

About 6 months before our mission call, when we were still filling out Church forms, I had the distinct impression that I needed to see if we could reestablish contact with our friends. Through Facebook, they were found. A few months later, when we told them about our mission call, the husband said, Why on earth would your Church send you to Hungary? The Bridge at Andau.

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Holiday blog - 2014. Nativity scene I took at our Ward Christmas party. It is hard to start a new blog. Evidently I havent done enough musing since returning to Missouri. Or maybe I depended too much on Mongolia and our mission as easy and enjoyable subject matter. Doing a blog is hard work but so is writing a column. There is something about deadlines and obligations that motivates me. I realize that no news isnt exactly good either. So Ive turning over a new leaf. Darle.CONTENT
