Wednesday, May 25, 2016. For the final assignment of the year I took self portraits. This project was challenging because I had to use the self timer and then run to where I wanted to pose so it took a while to get the shot. Wednesday, May 25, 2016. For my self portraits, used multi-layer and reflection. Both multi-layer and reflection designs were the two of my favorite styles through out this semester. For the two multi-layers I added a spider to give the perception of its largeness and for the other layer I put an album cover on face as to alter the texture of my face. Wednesday, May 25, 2016. These are the best of my architectural lines series. I picked the ones that were not black and white, as I never really fell in love with them. I placed them in an order so that they are the most coheisive and illustrate the best flow possible. The images start off as blue pictures of school, which lead into the more shadowy designs. Wednesday, May 25, 2016. To do this I got someone to take pictures of me with elements of architecture to create interesting shapes in the background. To add variety, each photo is taken at a different distance and angle, but all photos are cohesive because they are portraits of me. I edited these photos into black and white and increased the contrast to add interest and to exaggerate the interesting architectural shaped that permeate every image. Friday, May 20, 2016.

I used my Avedon portraits of Diego, and I edited faces over his eyes to really show the emotion that I see in the picture when I look at it. This was a very time consuming piece, but I was very happy with the outcome. I like how the color improved this photo. The crack going vertically down looks like a lighting bolt somehow.
