Friday, December 9, 2011. For this conceptual series, I took photographs of hands in different shapes and collaged them with photographs of eyes. It was interesting as I experimented with very surreal ideas, of eyes shooting out of fingers and eyes dripping from hands. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. This project was difficult for me. I kept getting the dimensions wrong and making objects to big or too small. Once I got help from my teacher my photos improved. Thursday, May 19, 2011. In this series on the rule of thirds I decided to use more of the rule of thirds version that featured an object in the corner and still complied to the rule of thirds. I tried to find interesting objects with plain but complicated backgrounds that highlighted the objects that are complying with the rule of thirds. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Maddy is a great photographer who loves to tell stories with her pictures. She captures motion and emotion in a way that really captivates people. I love her big series project because they told interesting stories and showed great use of sequences and triptics. His triptic photographs are very well put together and interesting. In the following photographs I attempted to draw focus to the central plant or area and create a shallow depth of field.
