Friday, December 9, 2011. For this conceptual series, I took photographs of hands in different shapes and collaged them with photographs of eyes. It was interesting as I experimented with very surreal ideas, of eyes shooting out of fingers and eyes dripping from hands. I tried to find interesting objects with plain but complicated backgrounds that highlighted the objects that are complying with the rule of thirds. In the following photographs I attempted to draw focus to the central plant or area and create a shallow depth of field.
