I was also told in a portfolio review to pick photos that were more than just nature is pretty so if you could keep that in mind too that would be awesome. Thanks. They ask what medium it is. Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Lian usually shoots in abstract, colorful packed shots. In most of her photos, Lian has more than one focus or subject. I took this photo of Lian because it has some dimension and is more than just the typical, straight on shot. It is also colorful and detailed, while at the same time having more than one focus. They usually have some sort of light reflecting or focusing on the photos. I would say that my style is usually a laye.
