Wednesday, April 1, 2009. Our trip to the border was uneventful and the border crossing painless. We were in Tucson in good time and had no problem. For 3 days to visit Jerry and Sheri who have bought a home here. We spent the time visiting, bike riding and drinking green beer. Jerry and Sheri have a beautiful home and much more tastefully decorated than the show homes. They were over the top. From here we drove to Holbrook, Arizon. This highway goes through the Salt.
Sunday, April 18, 2010. Slowly the park is emptying out as folks pick up and start to head home. We spent a day at the Tucson Air Show on the Davis Monthan Air Force Base. Can do and the Thunderbirds. You could easily spend the 2 days here; one doing the static displays and one watching the air show. Then it was time for us to pack up and leave our winter home. Not wanting to drive too far the first day we stopped at Picacho Peak State Park Park.

Mexico 2007 and 2008. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Update 12 St. George to Canmore. We left St. George and made our way over to. Kodachrome State Park. We went up highway 14 which took us to 9910 feet for a fabulous view of the valley. We could even see Zion National Park! It was cold here at night and of course this park had no hook ups and bad hours for running the generator. So we carefully used the furnace and hunk. The next day dawned clear and COLD! We bundled up and went to Bryce Canyon National.CONTENT
