I was fooling around with them today while taking a break from my storyboards, using one of his sumi style brushes. Truly fun to use and play with.

Wednesday, April 15, 2015. A beautiful rainforest reference photo. This was done in three passes. A basic wet in wet, warm and cool variegated wash to start suggesting light around the trees and blue sky reflected on firs in the background. I see a rainbow of colors in this photo, so ended up with that. Tried to keep the foreground warm; cools recede, warms come forward. Give it go, see what you come up with! A number of thing.
Wednesday, 22 February 2017. Nature delights as she starts a New and Wonderful year. There is always a pot of gold here, natures treasures to find. Beautiful sunsets to end the day. The blackbirds are pulling out moss from the lawn and flying off into the Ivy with their beak full of moss and grass. A nest is being build! The birds are singing. Wednesday, February 22, 2017. I made it from blue shirts, pillowcases and sheets and mixed with some new fabrics. A lot of the fabric was recycled and some from the charity shops. I was pleased how it turned out. I also used my little pincushion I made with the Hare drawing on it. I stuffed it with some sheep wool I collected on the shore. The quilt was packed and posted and arrived safely at its destination.
