Saturday, December 30, 2017. Back to work, but not yet. I have eaten a lot of peanut brittle. I am having just a little bit of a tricky time keeping track of the day of the week. The days feel a little slide-y.
My brain is on fire. Thoughts scald me like liquid stars. And ask me to soar with them. But my heavy skin chortles and reclines,. So for now, I sit. In a galaxy of homebound ideas. My binding words wrapped around me. Things I should do, start, cry. I go to the kitchen to invent dinner. Finite, obsolete, dull.

It has been raining most of the week. Saturday morning I had planned to hike up Bennachie with friends and when we awoke there was blissful wonderful sunshine.
