I am the mother of a 12 year old cancer survivor. My son, Harley, was diagnosed with an optic glioma when he just turned 5. The tumor was slow growing, but took most of his eye sight. He is now a very capable braille reader who has gone to the National Braille Challenge in Los Angeles, CA three times.
