Our eighth year as fulltime RVers. Friday, October 5, 2007. Game Lodge Campground, Custer State Park, Custer, SD - Sept 12-16. We had an enjoyable ranger walk led by Jerry Jessen, an ex-teacher of art and history. He must have been one of those teachers who made history come alive. We returned to camp via the Needles Highway which derives its name from the needle-like granite formations that is passes.

There are lots of trees that are well-placed to be out of the way but still provide shade, water and electric both function well, as does the free WiFi. And they honor Passport America. Wednesday, 11 June 2014. Breeding Pheasant - Cute chicks. These seem to be doing quite well, with large clutches of eggs and we try to disturb them as little as possible. All of them, Estate reared or not will be well fed and mingle once they are grown.
