Foodies and Adventurers, Ray and Lucy, Cruising The Highways and Byways. Blog started September 7, 2008 when we planned to retire and go motorhoming. Well the crash of 2008 tabled that notion. Now it is August, 2011 and we have finally done it. retired and have begun the next adventurous chapter of our lives! Sunday, July 19, 2015. We began our trip visiting friends in Sedona, AZ. Next was Lake Powell where we visited Lower Antelope Canyon. Incredible is all I can say about it. Utah is one of our favorite places and we traveled a bit of a different route this time. We spent quite a bit of time in Dixie National Forest and camped at Duck Creek Campground. What an incredibly beautiful campground this is.

After my mother passed away, I inherited her little file box of recipes. I am sharing them here for all her descendants and anyone else who might enjoy them. Most of them are quite outdated as we have access to a greater variety of ingredients now, we eat healthier and we have internet to help us!
