Dreaming of a white Christmas. When I first saw this image of Dreaming Pixie. I wanted to use it for a Christmas card so went with the soft teal and icy blue shades. A close up of the snowflake embellies, punched and die cut and coated with Twinklets and Glamour Dust. I used one of the Spellbinders borders for the centre strip. Monday, 26 October 2009. Week 5 - Granny Square Challenge. I have to admit to not doing a lot this week, I have had an excuse though and have been enjoying the sunshine in France for 4 days. I have come to a point now where I think I need to get a few of my squares joined together to see what my blanket is looking like so hopefully next week you will see something that looks a bit like a blanket instead of a work in progress photo. Now funny enough I had set myself a few things to try out, sort of mini goals to make me push myself out of what little comfort zone I have! Now these goals were to try out different skin tones and hair colours, not something I have really done before.
